Who we are

The International Relations Office (GRI), a department under the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Tiradentes University, is dedicated to expanding the range of international partnerships with the aim of strengthening the academic quality of its programs and thereby enhancing the international recognition of Tiradentes University (Aracaju/Sergipe), the Tiradentes University Center of Pernambuco (Unit/PE), and the Tiradentes College of Goiana (Fits/Goiana), in Pernambuco.

The Tiradentes Group began its international activities through academic mobility programs in 2008, and currently has expanded opportunities through academic and scientific cooperation with 40 universities from Spain, Portugal, Latvia, Croatia, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, China, and South Korea.

Through international relations, the Tiradentes Group aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and provide the best international opportunities for students, faculty, and administrative staff within the group, thereby expanding international development and broadening perspectives on the diverse cultures that make up the globalized world, where cultural diversity and the integration of peoples must be promoted.

This is known as International Academic Mobility, which plays a key role in the education of students at the Tiradentes Group and partner educational institutions abroad, enabling them to engage in academic study and learn about different languages, cultures, and realities without losing their connection to their home institution. These opportunities are governed by the General Regulations for International Academic Mobility.
